Building the data infrastructure behind the Times — real-time streaming pipelines, ML training and inference platforms, and cloud-native self-service tooling that lets engineers and data scientists move as fast as the news.

Designed and built React dashboard to monitor live load status of claims redshift data warehouse in test and prod environments. Improved data modeling and table building processes using Python and command line tools.

Designed, built, tested. & deployed 500+ events/hour scalable event ETLs. Proposed solutions, designed, & began development on client-facing API wrapper around central data warehouse using Flask & SQLAlchemy to standardize data access for internal & external stakeholders.

Led web development team overhaul of IDEA website in 2021/22. Took over ownership of portfolio project as lead/project manager August 2020. Managed a team of 4 and built React based portfolio of IDEA ventures final product delivered in December 2020, allowing external access to Salesforce data for the first time.

Attended summer-long joint fellowship program between Yale, McGill, Northeastern and Northwestern Universities to apply rationality & strategy to questions regarding morality & altruism. Received $5000 honors grant from Northeastern to start our own fellowship to teach Northeastern students about effective giving and EA resources.

Reengineered key-metric impressions module to give real time estimates for thousands of posts per week to improve data reliability & organization increasing company efficiency saving ~10 hours of work per week for engineers and marketers. Redesigned customer-facing GDPR page with personalized URLs accessible through email to increase external data transparency.
